Property owners who are subject to land tax have been receiving emails from the Victorian State Revenue Office (SRO) reminding them of their obligations in relation to the Vacant Residential Land Tax (VRLT). Owners may need to adjust their rental strategies or explore exemption options to avoid accumulating substantial Vacant Residential Land Tax debts.

Council and Emergency Services Prepare for the Upcoming Fire Danger Period
The Fire Danger Period will begin at 1:00 am on Monday, November 25. Council, the Country Fire Authority (CFA), the Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action (DEECA) and Transport Victoria, will be working together to mitigate bushfire risks and ensure all preventative measures are taken to manage the safety of the region and community.

In their five years of operation, they have made considerable policy progress and are close to providing physical accommodation.
