Coroners Court Opens Inquest into Daylesford Tragedy
A directions hearing in the Coroners Court in Melbourne has set the timetable for an inquest into the fatal Daylesford crash of 5 November 2023, In the meantime, Hepburn Shire Council taken remedial actions to prevent a possible recurrence.

Council to Sell Surplus Properties to Fund Future Infrastructure
Hepburn Shire Council has resolved to dispose of seven Council-owned properties that have been identified as surplus to operational requirements. Proceeds from the sale of the properties will be allocated to a new fund to support future capital works across the Shire.

Good rainfall in June and July has not made up the deficit which resulted from a very dry autumn. Although pastures look green because of recent rains, growth has been limited because of the cold winter weather.
