Creswick Trails to Host Commonwealth Games MTB Events
The state government announced earlier this week that Mountain Bike (MTB) Racing will be staged at Creswick for the 2026 Commonwealth Games in regional Victoria. The announcement caps a campaign by Hepburn Shire and Ballarat Councils to include MTB in the Victoria 2026 program and to stage MTB racing in Creswick.

Summit in Creswick Addresses Affordable Housing in Regional Victoria
The Victorian Government hosted a Regional Affordable Housing Summit at the RACV Resort in Creswick on Tuesday. Minister for Housing, Danny Pearson, announced $219 million in grants from the Social Housing Growth Fund to build social housing across regional Victoria.
