Central Highlands Water to Investigate Bioenergy Generation

Central Highlands Water has been awarded $60,000 in project funding through the Victorian Government’s Waste to Energy Bioenergy Fund. As part of the funding, CHW will explore the benefits of the localised production of bioenergy using forestry wood residue left onsite after a pine plantation is clear felled. The project will complement the organic waste composting facility at Creswick.
