School Holidays are here and there are two fabulous school holiday activities being offered by the Daylesford Neighbourhood Centre for 10-15 year olds. These events are FREE, but numbers are limited and bookings are essential. Follow the links below to book your activity. These activities are a great opportunity to get the youngsters off the keyboards and out enjoying the fresh autumn air as well as our beautiful surroundings!

Event 1: Great Dividing Trail Walk
Thursday, 15th April 2021; 11:30am – 2:30pm *Ages 10-15.
Starting from Hepburn Springs reserve, the walk follows Locarno Gully up to Jackson’s lookout then through more of the Hepburn Regional Park and the gold-mining area of Beehive Gully to the Chocolate Factory on Midland highway. Bring a cut lunch and water to drink. Wear good shoes or runners. This walk will be guided by two coordinators from the Great Dividing Trail Association (with working with Children Check).
Drop off at Mellourban Picnic Area, Hepburn Springs Reserve at 11:30am
Pick up Chocolate Mill, 5451 Midland Hwy, Mount Franklin Vic 3461 at 2:30pm
Event 2: Mountain Bike Rides
Tuesday 13th April 2021;10:00am – 12:00pm *Ages 10-15.
Come and mountain bike ride around Daylesford. A good level of fitness is required for a 2 hour ride (approximately 15km) around the forests of Daylesford. You will need to bring a capable mountain bike with gears, a water bottle and snacks to have during the ride. Meet at Daylesford Neighbourhood Centre and be ready to ride at 10am on April 13.
The ride is limited to 12 participants. Two coordinators (who have Working with Children Checks) will guide the riede.
