Local residents Natalie Moynihan and her daughter, Wynter Grey, are preparing for a glamorous getaway after taking top prize in a competition at the Farmers Arms Daylesford Hotel. The lucky winners have secured a return trip to Las Vegas to witness the glitz and glamour of RuPaul’s Drag Race Live.
The winning moment unfolded during the hotel’s spectacular Mardi Gras night celebration in March, an event that drew the community together for a night of performance and festivities.
For Natalie, Wynter, and Joel, this win is particularly meaningful. The family has long been a fixture in the local arts and LGBTQIA+ scene, with years of dedicated involvement in the ChillOut Festival and years of support for our local drag performers.
The family is currently in the thick of planning their itinerary, with their sights set on a November 2026 departure. The trip promises to be a major highlight of their upcoming travel, offering them the chance to see their favourite drag show on the world stage in Las Vegas.
