Council’s popular digital literacy program, Tech Talk and Tea, returns from mid-March, once again offering participants the opportunity to build tech confidence and skills in a friendly setting.

Mayor, Cr Tony Clark, said that the free sessions are being supported through a grant from the Good Things Foundation.

“Sessions will cover a range of topics that will be helpful in everyday life. If you feel as though you could benefit from better technology skills, please come along.”

“There will be information on avoiding scams, top tips for getting the most out of your smartphone, and using library apps such as BorrowBox so you can listen to audiobooks on the go,” he said.

Past participants highlighted the incredible value they got out of these sessions.

Session will be held on Tuesdays from 17 March with a break over the Easter school holidays. Sessions in Daylesford will run from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm and sessions at the Creswick Hub will be held from 2 to 4 pm.

Please note, sessions in Daylesford will be held at Council’s customer service centre on the corner of Duke and Albert streets (not Daylesford Library).

Bookings are not required.
