A delicate spider web, woven beneath the eaves of a local home, and highlighted by thousands of glistening water droplets captured the imagination of Mark Rak. The intricate strands, nearly invisible in dry air,  shimmer like strings of pearls, each droplet catching and reflecting the foggy morning light. The mist has transformed the web into a fragile sculpture, each drop clinging precariously to gossamer silken threads. This ephemeral beauty will fade when the cloud breaks and the sun’s warmth reclaims the moisture but in this fleeting moment, the mist provides the finishing touches to the spider’s masterpiece.
