In senior footy action at Victoria Park, Daylesford (12.9-81) went down in a high scoring game to Rokewood-Corindhap (21.9-135). Sam Winnard, Scott Hughes and Shaun Clark each kicked three for the Bulldogs. The Reserves side also went down 5.5-35 to 11.14-80.
Daylesford Under 12s kicked straight and were rewarded with a 4.0-24 to 1.2-8 victory over Rokewood-Corindhap. The Under 15s encountered little resistance winning 17.12-122 to no score but the Under 18s lost a close one 7.4-46 to an inaccurate 6.14-50 scoreline for Rokewood.
Hepburn was away palying beneath the wind turbines at Waubra and returned with a solid victory 17.12-114 to 10.7-67. Andrew McKay had a day out kicking 7 goals for the Burras. Hepburn sits just outside the top four on percentage. Waubra Reserves were unable to field a side because of COVID issues.
The Under 12s kicked into a strong wind for the first quarter and Waubra got the early lead and the momentum. Although the kids never gave up, they were unable to penetrate the strong Waubra defence. The Under 15s continued their winning ways with a 21.11-137 to 3.0-18 win even though they had 3 under 12s in the side. Oscar Stone kicked 9 for the Burras. The Under 18s were slightly undermanned due to injuries and a strong Waubra outfit ran over top of them 14.18-102 to 2.4-16.
