Diversity and talent is on display at the Daylesford Men’s Shed (DMS), with many of the members picking up instruments and exercising some surprisingly good vocal skills. The newly christened “Silverhairs” meet for practice after the regular Men’s Shed lunch on Thursdays.
The musicians are sure to perform at the DMS Christmas dinner and may well be seen at other gigs around town.
The Men’s shed is operating (under COVID restrictions)Â twice weekly (Monday and Thursday – 9 am onwards).
Music adds to the broad repertoire of activities at DMS – including computer aided manufacturing (routing, 3D printing, laser cutting), cooking, metal work and woodwork – plus plenty of talk and fellowship.
Interested prospective members should drop into the shed and have a look. The Shed is located in Victoria Park behind the Pavillion.
