The 12th Annual ‘Christmas in July’ held at the Farmers Arms this week was another resounding success.  Patrons enjoyed a two-course meal and donated generously to Hepburn Regional Cheer’s biggest fundraiser.

This event is a key factor in bringing some festive cheer to those that need it most at Christmas time. HRCC has assisted hundreds of local people for more than a decade, providing food and fuel vouchers, gifts, hampers and toys in an environment that provides hope and much needed joy into their lives.

Despite challenging economic times, businesses donated more than ever this year, and people equally matched this with overwhelming generosity resulting in the  biggest result yet. HRCC raised more than $19,000 on the night.  Plans are already underway for more fun filled events.

A big thank you to the Farmers Arms, HRCC volunteers, Santa and Mrs Claus and photographer Michelle Donnolly for putting on a great night, which will bring an abundance of goodwill to our community this Christmas.
