National Volunteer Week is a chance for all of us to recognise the vital work of volunteers and to say thank you. Volunteers make up an important part of the Hepburn Shire community and provide valuable contributions through their work with a wide variety of community groups and organisations.

Mayor, Cr Tim Drylie, said that through volunteering, we are changing communities for the better.

“Hepburn Shire has a rich history of volunteerism. Volunteering brings people together, it builds and supports communities, and creates better outcomes for everyone.”

“Whether you volunteer for a local community group, activity group, services or sporting organisation, are a volunteer at our Visitor Information Centres, or a member of a Council Advisory Committee or reference groups, we say thank you for giving your time, energy and expertise for the benefit of our community,” said Cr Tim Drylie.
