A King Parrot visiting Daylesford in winter. These larger parrots are typically seen along the east coast right down to Port Campbell. They tend to live in wetter forests and have a loud, high-pitched, metallic screech. We tend to see them visiting in winter and they are very attractive and inquisitive.
