Rotary Daylesford will host and information session on Thursday, May 29, about the local rollout of digital water metres and report on progress on the Daylesford Pipeline project
Central Highlands Water (CHW) will soon replace it’s fleet of more than 75,000 existing water meters with new digital water meters. Digital water meters will help to better manage water usage, minimise safety risks for CHW staff, identify leaks and areas where water usage can be reduced and will simplify the process for residents moving house.
With the rollout out of digital water meters commencing shortly in Daylesford, Hepburn and Hepburn Springs, Scott FitzGerald, CHW’s Head of Digital Programs will share information on the benefits of digital water meters and how CHW is supporting customers through this transition.
Stage 2 of the Daylesford Pipeline Project which involves an upgrade to the Blampied Pump Station on the Goldfields Superpipe is underway. This substantial advancement in water infrastructure for Daylesford will provide a sustainable water network to meet the regions water security needs. The yet to be completed Stage 3 Daylesford Water Treatment Plant upgrades will complete the project. David Scott, Pipeline Project Manager, will talk about how this project is progressing in 2025.
Come along with your questions and find out more about these major projects.
