This coming Sunday, August 21, Daylesford’s Repair Café will include a workshop on how to pull things apart and how to put them back together. The workshop will be run by “Mr Fixit”, Julian Alaba from 1.30pm to 3.30pm.
In addition to the workshop, skilled fixers will be on hand to help repair things electrical and mechanical, household and garden items, and bicycles. They can sharpen knives and tools and help mend and darn clothes. Enjoy a cuppa and cake at the cafe and chat to other locals concerned to reduce waste, make things last and learn and share skills.
