Council workers were busy on Thursday clearing a large tree in Second Avenue Hepburn.
In Daylesford, a large tree has fallen on the north end of the Lake near the walking path.
Residents are warned to be careful of the potential danger even when winds are light.
Council has extended the free disposal of storm-related green waste at Council transfer stations until Saturday, August 14. Residents need to show proof of residency. Green waste that is not related to storm damage (or recent wet weather) will attract a tip feel.
