Do you know someone who goes above and beyond for our community? Each year, Council recognises and celebrates significant contributions from local citizens and groups that have made a significant contribution to our community.
Council is now seeking nominations for the 2022 Community Awards for Citizen of the Year, Young Citizen of the Year and Event of the Year.
In 2021, the Dayelsford and District Horticultural Society was awarded Event of the Year for continuing their monthly seminars in an on-line webinar format and opening them to the wider to the community. Town Crier, Philip Greenbank, was awarded Citizen of the year for his services to the RSL and the CFA. Matilda Hill was recognised as Young Citize of the year for her selfless involvement in a wide range of community activities and events.
Recipients of the awards will be announced at a civic ceremony on 25 January 2022, where Council will also be conferring citizenship on eligible members of our community. Find out more or nominate now! Nominations close Monday 29 November.
