The Hepburn Seniors had another good win against Dunnstown last weekend and only some inaccurate kicking by the Burras kept Dunnstown in the match. Hepburn led at every change to finish 13.22-100 to 8.7-55. Sam Dunstan led with 4 goals to bring his total to 52 for the season. Mitch and Brad Mckay added 3 goals each. The Reserves also had a win kicking 8.6-54 to Dunnstown’s 5.5-35. Kim Cummings and Adam Raak kicked 2 goals each for the Burras. The Under-18s tied Dunnstown 5.8-38 to 5.8-38. Dunnstown was too good for the Under-15s winning 10.8-68 to 6.1-37. Hepburn Under-12s were way too good winning 11.7-73 to 0.1-1.

Daylesford Bulldogs Seniors went down in a low scoring, hard fought match to Skipton losing by 8 points, 3.12-30 to 5.8-38. Daylesford let at quarter and half time but some inaccurate kicking in the third quarter allowed Skipton to gain the lead. Skipton was too strong for the Bulldogs Reserves winning 14.6-90 to 4.6-30. Daylesford Under 18s led early in their match but fell away in the second half to trail Skipton 5.6-36 to 7.4-46 at the final siren. The Under-15s had a good day, downing Skipton 10.7-67 to 2.3-15. Jack French kicked 3 for the Burras. Skipton won the Under-12s match 6.3-39 to 0.1-1.

Hepburn netball teams were all victorious. Hepburn A Grade netballers continued their strong form with a 90-22 win over Dunnstown. The B Grade team won 51-31 and the C Grade team won 39-27. The Under-17s won 33-26, the Under-15s won 31-22 and the Under-13s won 27-6.

Daylesford B Grade netball team was defeated by Skipton 35-23 and the Daylesford C Grade team went down 48-14. The Under-17s drew Skipton 29 apiece but the under-15s lost 28-11 and the Under-13s lost 17-6.

Daylesford and Hepburn are both away this weekend so the ovals will be free to walk the dogs. Daylesford is at Bungaree and Hepburn is at Beaufort. Long sleeves are allowed for netball players because of the expected inclement weather.
