The Daylesford Show Committee have put together a fun filled Family and Community event with exciting entertainment and live performances for all ages to enjoy.
Free activities and events for children include face painting, a petting zoo, pony rides and petting and a puppet show. And the Showmen’s Guild will be there with rides to enjoy. Children can try out their skills in the Spud Steal, Gumboot Toss, Spud Croquet and the Farmer Wants a Life events throughout the morning.
Are you interested to see some impressive exhibits from our community’s up and coming young talent? Kids aged up to 18 years can exhibit for free and we are so looking forward to seeing what they produce.
On display, there will be the competition exhibits for cookery, art, sewing, knitting, crochet, quilting, photography, flowers, floral art, plants and garden/farm produce. From total novices to the more experienced, all members of the community are encouraged to join in the fun and submit an entry.
Observe the judging of sheep, poultry and the majestic Dogs Victoria Daylesford Championship. In the Horse Arena, you can view the various classes of horse events, including the fan-favourite Show Jumping.
Local Daylesford community services will be on show including the Glenlyon Group CFA, Ambulance Victoria and Daylesford SES.
The Hall of Flowers will feature demonstrations of crafting with a plant focus and wool spinning by an expert.
