Grants of up to $10,000 are available to support community sport and recreation clubs or organisations to increase participation, build capability, promote gender equity and support the professional development of women volunteering and working in community sport.
Member for Macedon, Mary-Anne Thomas announced applications for the 2023-24 Chang Our Game Community Activation Grants program have opened.
This round of the program set a strong focus on supporting club or organisation initiatives that encourage the inclusion of women and girls from all backgrounds and experiences.
The Victorian Government want to make sport more accessible for all sections of the community and provide opportunities for a more diverse range of leaders in local sporting organisations.
This is the seventh year of the program. It has provided more that $2.2 million in 461 grants for community sport across the state as part of the investment made through the Office for Women in Sport and Recreation.
