Signalling a new era for the Swiss Italian Festa, the Landscape Art Show has officially opened three weeks in advance of the Festa.
In the past the Landscape Art Show has only been open for the weekend of the Festa. Opening early gives locals and tourists much more opportunity to view and potentially purchase some of the art works on display.
The Landscape Art Show has been a long running exhibition and a favourite with local artists within the Shire for many years, notwithstanding the various interruptions thanks to COVID. It seems it’s back with a vengeance now and has opened the door for more local artistic contributions by making it an exhibition for all mediums.
Prizes and celebration of the event will be held on Saturday 28th October from 3 – 5 pm.

What’s on at the Festa
The Festa Programme for the weekend of 26th – 29th October has also been released and is designed to create a weekend of food, famiglia and fun. It’s great to see the Festa returning with some familiar activities along with some completely new events to pique everyone’s interests.
