The Hepburn Burras Seniors had another big win in their CHFL match against Waubra last weekend. Hepburn won 20.3-133 to Waubra’s 6.8-44. Sam Dunstan again had a big day kicking 8 goals with Mitch Mckay contributing another 3. In the Reserves match, Steve Carman kicked 5 goals in a total of 10.5-65 to defeat Creswick 6.9-45. Adam Raak and Shane Black added 2 goals each. Hepburn under-18s went down 3.12-30 to Waubra’s 9.12-66. The under-15s were overrun by Waubra going down 16.10-106 to 1 behind. The under-12s won comfortably 4.2-26 to 1.1-7.

The Daylsford Bulldogs Seniors went down in a close fought contest against Creswick. Creswick was well in front for most of the game but Daylesford closed in the final quarter to lose by little more than a kick. Scott Hughes kicked 5 goals and Sam Winnard added 2 in a total of 8.12-60 to Creswick’s 10.7-67. In the Reserves match, Daylesford went down 1.6-12 to 7.12-54. The under-18s also went down 7.2-44 to 11.9-75. It was one-way traffic for the Under 15s who won 31.12-207 to no score. Jack French kicked 6 goals. The Daylesford under-12s won 2.8-20 to 2.2-14.

In Netball, Hepburn was again dominant.  The A Grade team defeated Waubra 88 to 20; the B Grade team won 36-32 and the C Grade side won 41-16. The Under-17s won 27-19 and the Under 15s won 46-3. Waubra won a close Under 13s match 15-14.

Daylesford lost to Creswick in B Grade netball 43-7 and were downed in C Grade 37-6. The Daylesford Under-17s won 15-8; the Under-15s won 32-4 and the Under 13s won 21-5.

This weekend Daylesford is away at Ballan and Hepburn will host Skipton.
