Locals are looking forward to the reopening of the Grande Hotel in Hepburn Springs in April this year. In his interview for Hepburn Community Radio with Robyn Rogers, Nick Cooper the new owner outlines his plan to give the Grande Dame a make over.

The Grande will continue as a full service hotel with 11 rooms and upstairs dining for guests. Downstairs will see a wine bar that Cooper plans to open 7 days a week for the public until 10pm serving wines, cocktails and tapas style meals. He will also run a ‘shipping container’ wine bar on weekends that does pizzas. There are plans for a locals night on Mondays.

Nick Cooper has a strong track record as a Chef and restaurateur in Melbourne and Queensland. He has ambitions to run Chefs’ and wine makers dinners’ at the Grande drawing on his extensive contacts.

The public will get a first taste of the Nick’s vision for the Grande at ChillOut when the hotel will have special opening for dinners, a cocktail party and live music.
