Coming up in Term 4

As Term 3 draws to an end, we are now looking ahead to Term 4 and are happy to announce we have several new offerings commencing in October.

Coming up in Term 4 we will have a new Men’s Group fortnightly session, a new French class on Monday afternoons and our much-loved Honeytones Choir will be stepping back in to their regular Monday night timeslot.

We welcome Catherine LeRoux, our new French tutor on board, and welcome back Greg Govinda, the Men’s Group facilitator.

Details will be available on our DNC website, on the DNC Facebook page and in our brochure (once released).

Celebrate spring by joining in one or more of these community activities.  Broaden your mind, meet new people (and share a cup of coffee or two).

DNC Joke of the Week

A child asked his mother, “How were people born?”

So his mother said, “Adam and Eve made babies, then their babies became adults and made babies, and so on.”

Not quite satisfied, the child then went to his father and asked the same question. He replied, “We were monkeys then we evolved to become like we are now.”

The child ran back to his mother. “Dad said we came from monkeys or something!”

“No, darling,” his mother said, “Your father was talking about his side of the family.”

[If you’ve got a better joke, (and doesn’t everyone??) send it to  admin@dncentre.org.au  and we’ll publish it. (Remember, this is a family publication! 😊).  We’ll even include your name if you wish – or you can protect your anonymity!]
