Hepburn Regional Community Cheer’s (HRCC) Christmas in July Dinner will be hosted by Mitch Duncan and the team at The Farmer’s Arms Hotel Daylesford. This year is extra festive as it marks 10 years of generous support from the Hotel.

Tickets are on sale now for this year’s event which will be held on Wednesday 24 July. The dinner is a whole lot of fun and it also raises a whole lot of funds for locals who struggle to make ends meet, especially at Christmas time.

Funds raised by the event are used by the Hepburn Regional Community Cheer committee to purchase toys, groceries and vouchers that are distributed in December at their annual “Giving Day”.

Hepburn and Daylesford locals who find it difficult to buy presents or put meals on the table are encouraged to register to receive an invitation to the “Giving Day” later in the year.

HRCC’s Colin Metcalfe said, “We are thrilled that The Farmer’s Arms Daylesford is continuing it’s kindness to the community by hosting it’s 10th Christmas in July Dinner in support of Hepburn Regional Community Cheer! The impact that this event has had on those struggling with cost of living pressures right here in our home town is life-changing. Ensuring that children have gifts on Christmas morning is about spreading joy and kindness.”

The Farmer’s Arms Hotel Daylesford owner, Mitch Duncan said, “We love being a part of this vibrant community however we know that there are people who struggle to make ends meet. Christmas in July Dinner tickets sell out quickly as it is such a fun and festive evening that is for a good cause. We also host a free Christmas lunch on 25 December for those needing good company and a delicious meal.”

HRCC’s committee members are currently seeking donations of goods and services that can be auctioned or raffled at the event. Please get in touch with Christine or Emma at infohrcc22@gmail.com if you can contribute to this important community fundraiser.
