Daylesford has been voted as one of the Top 50 towns for tourists and holidaymakers. Australian Traveller Magazine lists the top 50 towns in Australia as voted by the tourists who visit them.

Daylesford ranked 16th in the list of Australian towns. Broome WA was named the most popular town in Australia followed by Port Douglas, Noosa and Cairns. The top five towns were all seaside locations.

In Victoria, Port Fairy, Bright, Echuca and Beechworth were ranked ahead of Daylesford.
