This November, DJAARA is celebrating 10 years since the signing of the historic Recognition and Settlement Agreement (RSA) with the Victorian Government, on November 15 in Rosalind Park, Bendigo.
YAPENYA, from 11 to 18 November is an eight-day program of events and activities to celebrate and showcase Dja Dja Wurrung achievements over the past 10 years and a view to the future.
All of the events are in Bendigo but many local residents will want to celebrate with the traditional owners of our country.

YAPENYA Art Exhibition 14-17 November
Dja Dja Wurrung artists will showcase their talent throughout the YAPENYA Celebrations with an Art Exhibition at Dudley House.
Come and see artworks by Kerri Douglas, Peta Hudson, Racquel Kerr, Daikota Nelson, Tamani Nicholls, Rebecca Phillips, Samantha Roberts, Maddy Saunders, Stephanie Taylor, Suzanne Taylor and more.

YAPENYA Twilight Market 16 November
YAPENYA Twilight Markets will feature Dja Dja Wurrung artworks, stalls, food trucks and yabby races. Come along and support local First Nations businesses.

Dja Dja Wurrung Group Showcase 13-17 Nov
Come and yarn with us at the marquee in Rosalind Park! Dja Dja Wurrung Group project teams will be present all week to show some of the deadly work currently underway within the Corporation and its enterprises. Check out the image displays, or come and play lawn games.
