Winners have been announced in the Shire Truck Art competition.

In July last year, Council announced a “Truck Art” competition to celebrate the arrival of the Shire’s new kerbside collection service with Suez.

The theme for the competition was ‘Reducing Landfill’. The copetition was open to school students and there were separate divisions for primary and secondary school students.

Xanthe Dalton from Daylesford College was the winner of the Secondary School division. The Hepburn Kindergarten class of 2021 won the Primary School division.

The student creations are now displayed on two of the kerbside collection trucks.

The wining artists received  a $150 Gift Card and their schools received a $200 voucher to progress a sustainable project at their school. Runners up in each category received a $50 voucher.
