It is with sadness that we acknowledge the death of Steve Wroe (CEO of Destination Central Victoria) who lost his battle with cancer over the weekend.
Over the seven years Steve has been the leader of Daylesford Macedon Tourism he made a significant contribution to the region. The success of Daylesford Macedon Tourism is a credit to his energy and enthusiasm.
Steve embodied great personal qualities and, even when he was very ill, he continued to pursue the interests of the community persistently and thoughtfully. He had a geniune committment to seeing the best for the region and the community.
Steve’s friendship and enthusiasm will be missed.
