Introducing The Well @ DNC: A Weekly Community Wellbeing Gathering

The Daylesford Neighbourhood Centre is delighted to welcome you to The Well @ DNC – a new community initiative designed to bring people together in the spirit of wellness, connection and renewal.
Like its namesake – a spring or water source – The Well is a place to refresh, restore and reconnect. Each week, participants will gather for gentle yoga postures, meditation and a warm cup of chai in good company.
Please bring along your own yoga mat, props and a blanket, if you have them.
Open to beginners and all community members – an inclusive and welcoming space.
The Well @ DNC is an initiative of Geraldine Pompei, an experienced yoga and meditation instructor, nature-based therapist and community services worker. With over 20 years in the community sector, Geraldine has taught across Geelong yoga studios (Hamsa Yoga, Active Balance Yoga, Be Centred Yoga), facilitated mindful movement for aged care residents and supported wellbeing programs for organisations including Headspace and Centacare.
Since moving to the Hepburn region two and a half years ago, Geraldine has been passionate about sharing accessible, heart-centred practices that nurture both individual and community wellbeing.
The Well @ DNC is about creating a space where people can come together, move gently, quiet the mind and connect with one another. We can’t wait to welcome you.

DNC Joke of the Week
I went to a dog show the other day. A Yorkie took Best in Show, a Jack Russell took second, and a Scotty took third. I’m starting to think the judges had some sort of All-Terrier motive.
[If you’ve got a better joke, (and doesn’t everyone??) send it to admin@dncentre.org.au and we’ll publish it. (Remember, this is a family publication! 😊). We’ll even include your name if you wish – or you can protect your anonymity!]
