Gordon Nightingale
The Kid was quite small for his age,
And his age was around six or seven.
But don’t underestimate his intelligence,
He knows every trick under heaven.
He assembles Lego models so easily,
Where kids three times his age would fail,
And his love and knowledge of aeroplanes
Is another most interesting tale.
“What’s your favourite aircraft, Kid?”
You may perchance of him quiz.
“The C-17 Globemaster of course!”
And at choppers he’s also a whiz.
The Kid has a wicked sense of humour,
And a mind like a hard steel trap.
This young lad is really on the ball,
You can’t fool him with any old crap.
At card games and every board game,
Don’t by his young age be taken.
He plays as ruthlessly as a tiger;
And your confidence will badly shaken.
He takes after both his mum and dad,
Super intelligence is fixed in his genes.
This Kid will be re-writing history
Even before he reaches his teens.
