Council is launching its Youth Development Strategy “ACE” on Saturday 8 October 2022 with a music event at the Daylesford Town Hall.
The launch event features Melbourne Indie Rock artist SUZI, who has recently had Triple J airplay with their song ‘Amelia’.

The support acts are all girl Melbourne rock ’n roll band The Vovos, and young Daylesford rock band Contrast. Existdance will be performing Hip Hop and Break-Dancing demos.
Mayor, Cr Tim Drylie, said he was extremely proud of the ACE strategy and was looking forward to its officially launch.
“The strategy was co-designed with local young people, who took the lead in designing and implementing the consultation and Youth Census that identified those things important to young people in our Shire.”
“The strategy aims to increase resilience in young people, raise their voice on topics they see as important, strengthen community partnerships, find ways for young people to be more included and respected in the community, and so much more,” said Cr Drylie.
The event starts at 6.30pm with a formal launch of the Youth Development Strategy and entertainment starts at 7pm. It is a fully supervised, drug, smoke, alcohol and vape free event, with no pass outs.
Entry is free and tickets can be booked online. Pot of Courage will be providing catering.
FReeZA, a State Government funded initiative, was a supporter of the strategy development.
