For their next Well-being Day on 16 December, Daylesford Neighbourhood Centre has booked the Tourist Train for a “magical mystery tour.”
Well, not so mysterious – it’s a trip through rolling countryside and the Wombat Forest to Bullarto, the highest operating railway station in Victoria!
Well-being Days are about taking time out for yourselves and reconnecting with others. This month DNC are focusing on families. Come along with your kids and your friends, take some time out and enjoy one of our region’s finest attractions.
We’ve earned it!
Trains will be running at 10am and 12noon. And the 12noon train will include Story Time presented by the Hepburn Shire Libraries at Bullarto, at 12.30pm! Light refreshments will be served during this stop-over.
The Centre staff are hoping that this day will appeal to families and to any adult who enjoys train trips.
Tickets for the train ride are free but bookings are a must to comply with Covid-19 regulations. Masks must be worn wile on the train and social distancing guidelines will be enforced. Addresses of all attendees will be required for contact tracing purposes.
Book your ticket on https://www.trybooking.com/events/landing?eid=688360&. If you are too late to get a booking for the first two trains, please put your name on the “Wait List” and if a third train can be organised DNC will let you know.
This event is being made possible thanks to the willing volunteers of the Daylesford Spa Country Railway and with funding from Hepburn Shire Council. DNC thanks both organisations for their assistance.
