Well we can only hope for Sunshine, Lollipops and Spring. They will come eventually!
We had to cancel our last Whack-A-Weed and Save-A-Tree and it looks like we will have to postpone our planned working bee for this weekend.
Whack-a-Weed and Save-a-Tree at Cornish Hill has seen some great work over the year so far. Along the Smiths Creek track we’ve cleared around growing trees, dug out weeds and brushcut around the native grasses. There’s more to be done but with the rain and wintery weather it will be more productive to wait until Spring to recommence our work.
Please please please watch this space for the next WWST at Cornish Hill – probably late September or October.
