Still water, deep and dark
Cool reflection pool
Unbroken image of trees and sky
Leaf falls
Gently floats, spins
Twirls to the mirror below
Image shatters
Crazed pieces jiggle and jostle
Ripples emanate
Expanding circles
Moving outwards
Still outwards, ever outwards
Slowly, sighing, tranquility returns
Fragmented pixels re unite.
