Pope Francis said:  “Living for others is a rule of nature. We are all born to help each other.

“Last Friday, the St Michael’s school community came together to raise over $1000 for a number of worthy causes, including the Fiona Elsey Cancer Research Institute and The Blue Tree Project.

Inspired by the message from Guide Dogs Victoria promoting inclusive practices and fullness of life for all,  Year 3 students added to their already sizeable fundraising for these worthy causes, now in excess of $3000.

Many students gave up their own time to bake a variety of sweet treats which were a big hit with students and staff alike.

We extend our sincerest gratitude to families for their generosity, students who organised a stall and parents and carers who assisted on the day.
