Hepburn Energy is facilitating the second heat pump hot water bulk buy from March 16.

Thanks to government rebates, premium heat pump hot water systems are far cheaper than ever before, with bulk-buy participants able to save on a new hot water heater.

After the success of the 2021 round 1 sold-out heat pump bulk-buy, Hepburn Energy is now able to extend their round 2 bulk-buy beyond the Hepburn Shire to include neighbouring areas.

Hepburn Energy and installation partner t2zero will be running two webinars that will demystify the technology, explain the bulk-buy process and give community members an opportunity to ask questions.

The Hepburn Z-NET Community Transition Plan found that households across the region could save up to 18% off their electricity use by switching to hot water heat pumps.

The General Manager of Hepburn Energy stated:

“As part of Hepburn Z-NET we’re committed to reaching zero-net energy by 2025 and zero-net emissions by 2030, and energy-efficient technology brings down household energy costs while supporting those targets.”

t2zero Business Executive Jürgen Rhyon said the benefits of heat pump technology had never been clearer:

“Electric storage water heaters account for a substantial component of household electricity consumption. Imagine being able to reduce this component of consumption by 80%! The Victorian Energy Efficiency Certificate (VEEC) rebate is at levels never seen before, making this a perfect time to transition to this technology.” stated Jürgen.
