This month, Daylesford’s Repair Cafe is joining forces with activities around Australia, as part of the National Sustainability Festival.
Radius Gallery is hosting ‘re:create – the art of sustainability’ – a month of all things renewable- giving life to forgotten materials, learning skills, repairing, swapping and foraging.
Come along this coming Sunday afternoon and get your household and garden items repaired and/or kept in good working order. Our local team of fixers and supporters can help with knife and tool sharpening, mechanical and electrical repairs,clothes mending and darning, as well as bike repairs and maintenance.
While getting your items repaired, you can enjoy the art exhibition where repurposed and environmental themes take centre stage. And you can also have a cuppa, cake and chat with other locals who want to minimse waste.
