Legendary fashion designer and artist Prue Acton OBE will be in Daylesford on Thursday, 25 September to officially open Connected Horizons, the latest major exhibition from Daylesford Arts.

The event begins with a Gala Opening Night Party at Stanbridge Hall from 5.30 – 7.30 pm – an evening designed to celebrate art, community, and local creativity. Guests will enjoy a complimentary drink on arrival, generous finger food, and the excitement of a live auction featuring original artworks, unique experiences, and goods donated by artists and local sponsors. Additional drinks will be available at bar prices.

This is an unmissable night for anyone who loves art or wants to support a great local cause. All proceeds from the auction will go to the Hepburn Wildlife Shelter, helping to care for injured and orphaned native animals.

Last year’s inaugural major exhibition raised over $2,000 for charity and sold more than $10,000 worth of art. Organisers are aiming even higher this year and are encouraging locals and visitors to book early for the Gala Night.

For those who can’t make the gala, Connected Horizons will be open daily from Thursday 25 – Sunday 28 September, 10 am – 4 pm, with free entry and plenty of opportunities to purchase local art.
