After a huge success last year, the Positive Ageing Expo is back for 2025 – bigger, brighter and full of inspiration for living well at every age.
The free, fully catered event will take place on Tuesday 28 October, from 10am to 3pm at The Mechanics, Trentham.
Designed for people aged 55+, but open to everyone, the expo celebrates healthy ageing and community connection. Expect a full day of engaging presentations, interactive experiences, live music and plenty of opportunities to learn, connect and have fun.
What’s on at the 2025 Expo:
- Inspiring speakers, including Dr Brad Mitchell from Ulysses Motorcycle Club, Linda Black from Rebel Elders, Jackson Fyfe from Deakin University, Dean Mawby from Stronger Longer Gym, John Bradshaw from LiveUp, and Central Highlands Rural Health.
- Live music all day from young local performers Arlo and Olive.
- Stalls and community groups showcasing services, activities and support for positive ageing across the region.
- Free lunch – stay and enjoy a meal while you chat and connect.
Mayor Cr Don Henderson says the event is for everyone, from older adults and their families to carers, professionals in the sector, and anyone curious about how to age well.
