Dear Editor.
Regarding Hepburn Shire taking the longest time to approve building applications, my neighbour had a building extension that took months to gain approval. Everything was ready to go but nothing could commence without the appropriate council permits.
What I find strange is that according to the second episode of The Block, one lot of contestants received approval for their wine cellar within a week.
I realise that this is a special circumstance but it surely must feel like a slap in the face for those waiting months for the approved permits to go ahead.
