On a calm, sunlit day in Daylesford, Scott Jones captured this striking image mirrored perfectly in the still waters of the Lake. The image speaks of serenity, balance, peace and the quiet beauty of our landscape. Yet, the inversion in the reflection also hints at a world turned upside down: one where harmony is too often overturned by conflict, and where lives elsewhere are disrupted by the decisions of distant powerful and ruthless leaders. In this reflection, the photograph invites us to pause, reflect and be grateful for the place we call home.
