Meet the Candidates Sessions
On Wednesday September 25th, the Chamber hosted a Meet the Candidates forum at Radius Gallery in Hepburn Springs, in preparation for the upcoming local government elections. Another Meet the Candidates session will be held in collaboration with Glenlyon Progress Association on Monday October 7th.
Cinema to Return to the Rex
The beloved Daylesford community cinema is poised to make a comeback, thanks to the persistent efforts of the Daylesford Cinema Group. A deal has been struck with the new owners of The Rex which will allow the group to lease the upper floor of the building and complete the cinema shell started as part of the abandoned Rex project.
Endeavour Group to Appeal Daylesford Dan’s Decision
The Endeavour Group will appeal the decision of the Victorian Liquor Commission to refuse its application for a Dan Murphy’s outlet in Daylesford. Council will seek legal advice and determine what steps it will now take.
