Daylesford Riding for Disabled Celebrates 30 years
Daylesford RDA (Riding for Disabled) celebrated 30 years of operation at Boomerang Ranch on 29th November 2024. Current riders demonstrated their riding skills to over sixty former riders and volunteers, friends and family members and community supporters.

At the beginning of what has been predicted to be a highly dangerous fire season, Hepburn Shire Council has announced that the Neighbourhood Safer Place at the Hepburn Recreation Reserve has been decommissioned. Residents in the Hepburn and Hepburn Springs areas should reconsider their Bushfire Plans urgently.
Great VCE Results for Daylesford College
Daylesford College principal, Steve MacPhail, has praised the Year 12 cohort for contributing to one of the school’s best results in years. Scout Kinnear, who received an ATAR of 97.55, is Dux of the College.

It will give you the confidence and tools to apply strategies which will give you the best chance of writing a successful application to a variety of funding bodies.
Court Fines Frangos Owners for Underpaying Staff
The owners of Hotel Frangos and Cafe Koukla have been fined over $100,000 ordered to pay entitlements to nearly 100 staff. The Federal Circuit and Family Court found that between May 2017 and July 2019 staff were underpaid a total $321,000.
Will the Rains Continue to Fall?
November started very dry with only 8mm of rain in the first three weeks after an October that had only half its average rainfall. Fortunately, we had some reasonable rain in the last few days of November to bring the monthly rainfall to 57mm, close to the monthly average.
Rotary Presidents Share the Load
Daylesford Rotary has four members taking turns to lead the Club during 2024-25. Usually a Rotary President takes on this important role for a year but this year three past Presidents and one other member agreed to share the responsibilities.
Djuwang Baring (Creswick Trails) Officially Opened
Djuwang Baring (Creswick Trails) was officially opened on Saturday 30 November at the Hammon Park trailhead in Creswick. The 60-kilometre trail network is designed for a wide range of abilities and skill levels.
