Coroners Court Opens Inquest into Daylesford Tragedy
A directions hearing in the Coroners Court in Melbourne has set the timetable for an inquest into the fatal Daylesford crash of 5 November 2023, In the meantime, Hepburn Shire Council taken remedial actions to prevent a possible recurrence.

Council to Sell Surplus Properties to Fund Future Infrastructure
Hepburn Shire Council has resolved to dispose of seven Council-owned properties that have been identified as surplus to operational requirements. Proceeds from the sale of the properties will be allocated to a new fund to support future capital works across the Shire.
Bureau Expects Good Rains to Continue in Spring

Tylden-Woodend Roadworks Completed
Local motorists who travel to Melbourne via the Calder have been frustrated for the past two years by speed restrictions on the Tylden-Woodend road put in place because of the appalling condition of the road. However, recently completed roadworks as part of the state government’s road maintenance program will resolve the problem.
