New Daylesford locals, Eleanor and Keith Fullarton, have opened a new wedding venue near Daylesford – Leonards Hill Estate, and they are welcoming locals to come and explore the venue on October 15.
Eleanor, a co-owner of Leonards Hill Estate, was inspired to create this picturesque venue after her own wedding planning journey. “It took us 6 years to complete this project. At the start, we were engaged with no children. Now, we’re married with three boys!”

Set on four acres of beautiful countryside surrounded by eucalyptus trees, Leonards Hill Estate offers a captivating backdrop for weddings. The venue boasts a diverse array of ceremony and reception spaces for maximum of 100 guests. There are indoor and outdoor ceremony and reception areas and indoor areas are equipped with heating and cooling systems to provide year-round comfort.
The venue’s modern country-luxe shed serves as the primary reception area, accommodating up to 100 seated guests. The space features polished concrete floors, half-tinned walls, black metal beams, high ceilings, a custom bar and large windows that flood the area with natural light and breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside.
The Courtyard, situated near the Shed, provides an excellent outdoor space for ceremonies or drinks. Wooden arbours, feature trees, garden beds, and wells add to the venue’s appeal.
A homestead that can accommodate up to eight guests is available on-site.
All of this with a commitment to environmental sustainability as the entire venue runs on solar energy.
Leonards Hill Estate will host an Open Day on Sunday, October 15th, from 11 am to 2 pm to showcase the venue to the local community. Everyone is welcome to explore the venue and meet over 20 vendors in the wedding and events industry. Enjoy food trucks, live music, and receive a complimentary glass of champagne upon arrival. A free shuttle bus will be available from Daylesford to the venue.
