The 153rd Kingston Agricultural Society Annual Show is on this weekend.

Saturday events will feature heavy horse and harness events, dog jumping and working yard dog demonstrations.  Visit the goats and chooks and admire the steam engines and cars of the past.  There will be a gum boot toss and a tug of war for the fit and healthy.

It’s been a good year for weeds in the garden and the show has added a new event that anyone can enter – a weed competition. Free entries on the day should be in the Morrish Pavilion before 10 am. Judges will award prizes to the best collection of weeds in a container.

Sunday will feature the renowned horse show which is a state qualifying event.  See horses and riders of a very high standard.
