The Daylesford Dharma School will be running a free fortnightly program in their Prep classroom to nurture school confidence and curiosity. The program, for all 4 and 5 year olds, will commencing on Friday 15 August from 10 am – 11.30 am.

This is a wonderful opportunity to have a Foundation teacher guide your child through the rhythm of classroom learning. The program will include purposeful play, problem solving and creative engagement that builds confidence to transition from kindergarten to primary school. The group will experience age appropriate social emotional learning activities, nature based learning, and experience the rhythm of being in a classroom in a school setting.

The Daylesford Dharma School runs a unique social emotional learning curriculum that is aligned to the Australian Curriculum General Capabilities. Pathway to Prep children will have an opportunity to experience this approach to developing mindfulness, compassion and empathy in fun and creative ways that build self-confidence in learning. This skilful approach to experiencing mindfulness can become an important part of their tool kit for self regulation and building self-awareness across their school years.

Take a beautiful first step into school life in an environment built on kindness, curiosity, and joy.

Places are limited to 12 children.
