With winter turning towards spring, it’s time to get all those jobs done around the house and garden. So, come along to the Repair Café this Sunday afternoon and learn how to maintain and sharpen your hand tools including secateurs, loppers and more. Two of our skilled fixers, father and son team Patrick Jones and Woody Ulman-Jones, will show you how.

Bring any of your hand tools in need of sharpening and maintenance.

What else can be fixed?

Join us at the Repair Cafe between 1pm and 4pm on Sunday, October 16th and see what else our team of fixers are capable of repairing. Our team of fixers and supporters can sharpen knives, scissors and garden tools. We can mend clothes, cushions and soft toys. We can repair bicycles, prams and other wheeled items. And household appliances as well as electronics are also able to be fixed. Enjoy a cuppa, cake and conversation while you’re there. And we also have a ‘mending broken hearts table’ for those in need of a listening ear.

We’re always looking for people who have skills in repair including people who can sew and repair clothes, so let us know if you’d like to join the sewing repair team.

See you on Sunday for an afternoon of fixing and keeping things out of landfill.
