Fatal Fire in Frazer Street

Police report that a person was found dead in property in Frazer Street, Daylesford on Monday at following reports of a fire at about 4.30 am.

According to police reports the deceased person they found has not yet been formally identified.

Arson squat detectives are investigating the fire and the circumstances associated with it are still unclear. They are appealing for anyone who has information or witnessed the fire to come forward.

Authorities would also like access to any dash cam or CCTV footage that recorded activity of the area around the time of the fire.

Anyone with information or relevant footage is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or submit a confidential report on line.
